AC box ?

Hi,
I just took the AC box of my truck to clean it out and get things in order. I found the metal back plate on the box rusted pretty bad. Its not usable. Are they available or should I look for a complete box? Thanks.

I suggest post pictures of it here and let's see how bad it is. Forum member F.A.A.benny often replies to posts about factory air conditioning and knows a lot about those boxes.
The boxes may be somewhat easy to find because a lot of board members like to smooth the firewall and mount A/C parts inside the cab using Vintage Air kits. If you buy a premium membership here on the forum, you can post a want to buy ad in the parts section.
