Covers for factory buckets
I believe I'm at the point where I need to find a set of covers for my buckets. I'm thinking I want the saddle with houndstooth inserts. Does anyone know of any sales going on now, I'm sure I need to order them, but hoping someone might have them in stock.

Re: Covers for factory buckets
Since you mentioned factory buckets, it's worth mentioning that the factory never made buckets with houndstooth covers nor did they make any truck seat covers with houndstooth at all prior to 71 - they were a 71-72 Cheyenne Super bench seat thing only. Having said that, the aftermarket houndstooth bucket covers do look great (and sure look like they should've been a factory option!) and keep you from sticking to all-vinyl seats! You probably already know this anyway, but only mentioning since you said "factory" - wouldn't want you to be doing a restoration and find out after the fact.

Re: Covers for factory buckets
Thanks guys for the input on the covers. I'm thinking the original covering with the vinyl would be fine, the scrolling looks nice, but like you say the houndstooth looks nice also. I know it wasn't factory in 69-70, but wasn't sure on the 71-72's. It does look nice though. Always a big decision to make.
