Thumbs down Brother's wtf?

Month after placing my order with Brother's now; Missing parts, wrong parts, stopped communication, local phone number busy, 1-800 number deactivated.

Are these guys just that poor at managing their business, or maybe making another video..possibly about how to ignore customer, lie about in-stock product, and generally be irritating??

Has anyone spoken with brother this week? Got through last week...after waiting over an hour on hold, through 29 callers ahead of me......which are apparently getting no lubrication for their sodomy either.

I mean it's just money and time right...which apparently they have plenty of both already, considering their lack of willingness to actually fulfill their side of a retail transaction and SHIP THE PRODUCT...CORRECTLY, IF AT ALL!!!!

Re: Brother's wtf?

Was actually in their showroom a few years back when I happened to be in So. Cal for a few weeks, so I stopped in to purchase some parts directly....even that was a hassle. I got my parts, but I swore that chances were I'd look somewhere else next time.

Re: Brother's wtf?

I guess I got lucky. Just got my second order from brothers in about 6 weeks. Their communication is not good but I did get what I ordered. It just took 2-3 weeks for stuff that would have been 1-2 under normal conditions.

Re: Brother's wtf?

Damnit. I just recently ordered some mirrors from them.
Oh well, all I can do is wait. Hoping they eventually come through with my order.

Re: Brother's wtf?

If they can't be bothered to give good service when you're standing in front of them, they're not getting my business. That's good to know. I want to replace the holy headliner in my truck, and a couple other things.

Emailed them yesterday, today they replied my order shipped. Next time, I’ll go to their store in Corona or just go the The Truck Shop in Orange.

Red face Re: Brother's wtf?

Finally got an email back....and then Mark did call me later in the evening as I said he could.

Lot's of apologies and even kept his cool when I tore apart his leaders and their reputation...of which they have very little it seems.

Some stuff still back ordered, some on the way.....still annoyed that it was "all in stock" on the email I received the day after I made the purchase.

Better than nothing, but I paid for a lot more than waiting a month and a half to get my truck back on the road.

Teach your kids to take the time....it is shorter in the long run than BS'ing it.

And all the really did was make a label...supposed to be here Saturday by 9pm, now it just bumped to Tuesday. These people are worse than dumb, they're liars and cheats.

Re: Brother's wtf?

I tried buying a 2 piece fan shroud and the hardware from them a few weeks back. Shipping costs were reasonable, so I placed the order. A week goes by, no confirmation. Out of the blue, I get a call from a lady who says they have to audit every order to Alaska...and now my shipping costs are over $100! I asked her to just ship it through the Post Office, and you could tell by her tone that they didn't even want to try. She just spouted off that it would be the same price. I told her that if they were that rude and unwilling to work with me, that they can just forget the order and refund my money.

That evening, I ordered the same parts from LMC who promptly shipped the following morning and was able to do it for $30! Take note Brother's, that's how you operate a business. I will not be wasting my time with them again.

I've been thinking the same thing, Dale. Seems like they'd have something to say -- explanations, apologies, whatever -- to calm the waters & try to retain customers if possible.

Re: Brother's wtf?

I know I wasn't happy with how my last order was handled. In stock and then back ordered after they received payment. No communication from them and it feels like you have to pry info out of them. I think they need to rethink their business model.
