Re: Debating... 67 gmc custom

I honestly don't know what it's worth, but I really like the GMC V6. It's not something that everyone is going to want - most want to swap an LS - but there are those of us who appreciate it for what it is.

Re: Debating... 67 gmc custom

Ray, I don't sell them often, but between storing, insurance, batteries etc... it adds up to time and money. I have one in the body shop now, another getting a new engine, a couple of drivers and I haven't even looked at the jimmy camper yet... I really like this truck but I have 2 other 2wd longbeds to pick from.

Factorystock, The main thing I was after was to save it. It took about 5 years to get this truck from its owner, sitting under a big pine tree and not moving in who knows how long.

Mark, I have spent hours getting pine pitch and other contaminants off of the already thin paint. It has been waxed and garage stored since. I agree about a detail on the engine.

truckster, I agree that the V-6 may hurt it for some but I think the right purist may really like it.

All said, is it in the $6,000 range you think?
Don't worry, you won't hurt my feelings with any opinions... and if you do, I do a lot of roadtrips and can find you...
