Yes reliable wipers are very essential here. Got caught in a gale coming back up 101. 45 MPH+ wind and inch a minute rain for a while. Reminded my of monsoon in SEA jungle so long ago. BTW ADs have all the aerodynamics of a
boxcar.
I'm running a blower so I have a scroll type vacuum pump and took the engine out of the equation. I am running electric wipers. I'ts small enough to maintain your choke cable. As for aerodynamics I feel the best way to improve it is to polish all your parts.
