1970 NP205 Shift Lever Arm, knob and boot ring

1970 NP205 painted shifter lever arm for manual transmission. Has the 3/8"-24NF threads. I also have the correct smooth top shifter knob without shift pattern.

As far as I know, the manual shifter arm is a one-year only for 1970. The NP205 shifter arms used with manual transmission had a bend to move it more toward the driver and away from the manual transmission shifter. The automatic TC shifter arm is more straight up and used in 69 & 70. In 1970 the shifter arms exited the high tunnel in the center (not off to the side).

Shift Lever Arm - $125 shipped
NP205 Shift Knob - $30 shipped
Trans Case Shift Boot Ring - SOLD

Buyer pays PayPal + fees; Shipping lower-48

Here are two 1970 shifter arms. The one on the left is the one for sale. The one on the right is for automatic transmissions (just to show the difference). The chrome auto shift arm is NOT for sale.

Dan, I think the difference is late-'70 vs early-'70 or something else other than auto vs manual transmission. I had an all original '70 CST with TH350/NP205 that had the offset chrome transfer case shift lever. So you lever for sale would be correct for either '70 with NP205, manual or automatic.

Tim, 1970 was the only year that the TC shifter exited from the middle of the hump. In 71-72 the the TC shifter exited off center on the passenger side of the hump.

For the 70 model year, the NP205 had two different TC shifters...one for a manual transmission and one for an automatic. They were virtually identical except at the top...the TC shifter on a manual transmission had a bend toward the driver to eliminate a potential interference with the transmission shift lever.

My TC shifter for sale is correct for a 1970 manual transmission with NP205 transfer case only. (69s only came with manual transmissions and Rockwell transfer cases).

Check out this link when I was looking to buy the auto version TC shifter for my 70 build. This gives more information including additional threads/posts. https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...d.php?t=800452

I guess if I don't sell it, I'll just hang on to it. I would think it is somewhat of a rare piece for 70 only.
