I have a '72 c10 Cheyenne which has the spare tire mounted in the bed behind the driver. I have never seen the hardware used to hold the tire in place as it was long gone when I bought the truck. Might you know what the hardware looks like? I would like to find it eventually now that I can check the tow hook off my "bucket parts list".

Here is what the hardware looks like for the in bed spare tire bracket. That is not a carriage bolt it is a special bolt that has the same threads as the lug bolts. And the special lug nut has a groove in it that locks into the the spare tire lock housing.
