Like Seven posted, some very talented people. With the top holding the shape, new floor and all the rocker pieces under the doors. If the windshield frame is decent. Could be brought back.

Re: How about, can you fix this one 1972 Blazer.

based on what I'm seeing - it's fixable. Will it be cheap or quick - no.

Rear Quarters, cargo floor, wheel tubs, etc. will add up.

As noted, if the top hasn't been removed in some time - everything should be lined up and with proper bracing - could be restored with the aftermarket blazer panels that are available now.

there is a LOT more available now for these trucks - even 5 years ago.

I'm rebuilding one now that has the entire back half replaced - took me longer to remove the old bent/rusted stuff than to install the new...

That's way more work than I would be willing to take on, but someone would probably buy it.

Judging by the picture, its actually not that bad. it has the typical rust issues which are easy to fix. It seems like the rear wheel arch is in good shape, would be nice to see up close pics of the rest of it, but if the price was right i'd buy it.

Wow, that looks nice! What kind of money are we talking for the aftermarket stuff you did on yours?

Yeah the arches seem.to be solid from what I remember. The floor board, rockers, and around the rear wheel tubs are pretty much disintegrated. The PO had welded some pieces of steel for extra lift and who knows what else!

For the right price I would buy it. I have tools and time but not enough money for a nice one. They don’t seem to be for sale much on cl.

Re: How about, can you fix this one 1972 Blazer.

shipping is the killer so you may need to chase parts for awhile - unless you can find a local place where you can pick stuff up

Bedsides - ~$1500
Wheel Tubs - ~$200
Cargo Floor - ~$800
Tailgate - ~$300
B-Pillar Supports - ~$250

This is about $3k in parts alone to replace the panel - might be cheaper with patch panels, but it may end up taking longer.

Re: How about, can you fix this one 1972 Blazer.

Thanks for the idea on pricing some parts. Unfortunately this old blue blazer is not even in line to be put back together, too many other projects and candidates in front of him. Maybe someday I will be the guy where a stranger says "Do you want to sell it"? And lays down the cash I can not resist.
