Re: December 2020 ToTM - Love Those Hand Me Downs!

great looking truck. very professional looking. I like shiny and straight as well. a nice finished look.
I grew up with patina, several colors etc. couldn't afford anything better than primer most times. nothing wrong with that either, to each their own. I am done with that look now though. I prefer a painted truck rather than a "purposely made old looking" truck. everybody has their own ideas and likes. I get it.

Re: December 2020 ToTM - Love Those Hand Me Downs!

Thanks for the compliments and votes. It's nice to win for the "hand me down" contest. The whole reason I built this truck was my parents.

Now I will try to take good care of it and pass it on to my daughter.

Well it didn’t look like this when I got it. I tell most people it was a very expensive inheritance.

First pic is around 1980, second pic is 2005 when I pulled it out of my parents yard.

Howdy neighbor congratulations on the win. It's DDG.
Drop dead gorgeous. That is an unusual color of gray. Any further information on the color? Our 52 GMC is gray, but more of a primer gray color.

I really like the Audi/ Nardo Grey. This color is similar to that and the Destroyer Grey on Dodge cars.

Since I did mine there's already another AD truck in my area painted the same color.
