Photo is pretty old, I'm thinking the damage was pretty excessive on the inside too.


I had one blow like that in my 57 Panel but it went down rather than up. It sheared the input shaft off the trans. My boss's son saw me take off hard in a stoplight to stoplight go with a Mercedes and then sent the company wrecker after me after it blew.
