New to the forum
Recently purchased a 68 C10 from MN and trailered it home to Ohio. I'm pretty sure it was previously owned by BluTrukker. Nice long bed truck with wood bed, well cared for. Well running 307 V8 3 spd with OD. It has a nice set of slotted wheels but I would also be interested in a set of original rims (would like all five to be able to add the spare back). Having the original AM radio restored (it did work with a new speaker but may as well have it refurbished). Bought it for my wife (married 33 years) but I am the care taker. She wanted a classic pickup. Am enjoying the advise and wisdom of this forum. Have enjoyed puttering around with small detail work while I wait for the salt to be rinsed off by a few good rains in central Ohio. Need to get the parking brakes working again. Installed a new lever but the cables appear to be frozen/rusted. New rear cables are only $14 each. Appreciate any insight.

Re: New to the forum
Nice!!!
Does it have disc brakes? (there are 6 lug disc conversions, available...just wondering) I don't see any center caps??? I'm wondering what brand of wheels those are??? I'm sure you can find some center caps on the internet, even if they are not made new, now. I only mention the disc brakes, because she will like it better, with discs!!!! |
