Seatbelt mounting location
Does anybody happen to have a picture of the spot where you bolt the seatbelt to the floor by the pillar. For whatever reason my 68 does not have them, or I am just not seeing them. I found the two in the middle but not the ones by the pillars. I bought a set of the Morris three point seatbelts and I would like to make my mount as close to the stock location as possible. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.
Thanks jeff |

Re: Seatbelt mounting location
Thank you for the response. This thread does not have a clear picture of the threaded hole. But I am confused by the post, when i spoke to the owner of Morris Manufacturing he swore that all of the trucks have this "nut" in the floor. Is this not the case?

Re: Seatbelt mounting location
I'm not aware if 1968 didn't have the hole. Here is a picture of my original floor on my 1971. The bolt hole in the picture is the driver side. It's about 6 1/2 inches forward of the back of the cab and about 3 inches from the the edge of the floor where it turns down to the cab corner pocket.

Actually that is perfect. I can look from the bottom incase something is covering the inside
But now I regret posting my picture as your floor and underside are clean enough to eat off of LOL. Jeff |

Re: Seatbelt mounting location
Thanks for all the help, because of the pics I was able to determine that someone has done some not so great metal work and where to drill my new holes.
I greatly appreciated everyone Jeff |

Re: Seatbelt mounting location
I recently installed Morris Design three point belts in my 71. The hardest job was removing the original bolts from the two point belts. I must have used about a gallon of Kroil oil but I didn’t break off one. You will enjoy the belts..
