Question Re: 1970 GMC Floor Mounted Gas Pedal replacement

Here is an update : I drilled out the two of the three original threaded holes like the loose instructions said too. Also drilled out the hole for the throttle cable just above the pedal location. Bolted everything up and connected the throttle body to the cable and pedal and so far so good. Here are some photos
