Upper radiator hose question
I'm putting a vortec motor out of a 97 tahoe in my 71, I'm using the factory serpentine system too. Has anyone found an upper radiator hose that goes up over the serpentine belt and connects to the radiator? I don't really want to use one of those aluminum flex hoses.
Thanks!

Re: Upper radiator hose question
I’m running a serpentine system from a 92 K1500 in my 72, I think they are the same. Stock 72 upper hose with a buillet specialties swivel thermostat housing, to tweak the hose routing. 10 years and 40k with zero issues.

Re: Upper radiator hose question
When I had a small block in my 69 I had to use a double hose. I looked for quite awhile for a single hose that wouldn't hid the fan on the alt but didn't find one. I ran this for a short time

Re: Upper radiator hose question
I’m finishing the install of the same. This is mine. I purchased an prebent tube and some nice silicone elbows.

Re: Upper radiator hose question
I don't have a serp belt setup but I did use a hose from a 73 to 87 pkup on mine since I used the latter long water pump accessories. It clears the AC compressor better.

Re: Upper radiator hose question
This hose is for a dodge ram truck but I cut one end off and it fits perfectly. The one picture shows what I cut off.
May not be what your looking for but it sure is better than what I had on it before.
