Wasn't super happy with how the intake turned out so I stripped it and repainted it.

Re: the 72 K10 with no name (yet) thread

Nothing super exciting to share yet. Still a few loose ends before firing but we're getting closer.

I did score a set of wheels for it today 15x8 4nubs to run factory caps. I've looked for a set of these for a while they are hard to find.

Gonna have them blasted and painted white with factory caps and a mud tire of some sort.

Re: the 72 K10 with no name (yet) thread

They also sell clips that are attached to rims so you can put the old caps on. A few guys here have used them and said they work well. They are used sometimes when the guys put the oversized transport rims on the truck and want the old caps to work.

I'm interested to know as well. I tried to find some a couple years ago but came up short.

Nice work on your K10! definitely stinks on the engine but you made the right choice. I've been thinking of putting a rubber mat in my K20 I want to plow with. Maybe it'll be easier to clean?

I really wanted carpet because I love how new carpet looks, but muddy footprints come off of a rubber mat much easier .

Re: the 72 K10 with no name (yet) thread

Here's a tip.. don't sell your wheels until your replacements are ready. Lol

Still haven't drove the truck, now it runs and is ready to drive but is on Jackstands for a while. Gotta have my steel wheels blasted and painted.

I'm gonna drive this thing one day!!!

Re: the 72 K10 with no name (yet) thread

Congrats on getting it running! I got an old beater K20 running a few weeks ago for the first time in years. Now it just needs an entire new body.
