Re: My Dusty 71 GMCe Electruck
so finally got around to installing the 2010 Honda Fit throttle pedal in the truck
nice thing about this pedal is that it has a metal rod, which we can [ahem] persuade here I am showing off my handrolic press who knew these expensive cable lugs make cheap spacers a lot of filing makes for perfect straight and even cuts each and every time |

Re: My Dusty 71 GMCe Electruck
so a little truck update after a year and nearly 1,600 miles, here's the only bad thing that I found so far. one of the transmission crossmember bolts lost it's nut and the other one is on only hand tight. now I think one of two things happened, SOMEBODY forgot to tighten these to begin with, or it being rubber mounted they just came loose on the account of a lack of a lock washer and or nylon locking nut
so here's the belt and suspenders plan to make sure it don't happen again, we are going to use both lock washer and nylon nuts Last edited by Gregski; 07-02-2024 at 03:34 PM. |

Re: My Dusty 71 GMCe Electruck
top 9 questions to encourage you to update us:
1. are you trapped in an old volts ohm? 2. have you run out of capacitors? 3. has the governor asked you not to charge your ev so you can run your ac? 4. are you not wired for it? 5. is your transformer now gas powered? 6. too much resistance? 7. you now think nucleus was an 80's rap band? (oh that one is actually true) 8. are you shielding us from updates? 9. your potentiameter broken? i know what it is: ELECTRON interference

Re: My Dusty 71 GMCe Electruck
I am seriously touched by all your kind words and support, I thought about sharing this and thought I would because if you love what you are doing than you must keep doing it no matter what life throws at you, divorce, cancer, death in the family, all the life roller coaster rides, and you know, this too shall pass.
So far it's been civil, and our kids are of adult age and now car parts can live in the house, know what I'm sayin' |
