What size spacers...

What size spacers do i need so the rear axel is the same as the front?

Good question, I was wondering the same. My '72 has the same problem (DANA front, GM rear). Seams the rear is about 1.5" narrower each side.

There are two ways to do what you are looking for with out using spacers.
One is to use a wider wheel on the rear.
The other is more offset to the wheel itself.

Spacers should be avoided, they weaken the entire assembly.

the spacers will put more leverage on the axles..... with larger tires it causes lots of stress.
