Fuel sending unit

Hey All,
First off Merry Christmas to everyone, and God Bless our Troops.

Has anyone used a adapter between their fuel sending unit and gas gauge,
I have a old set of VDO gauges in the 70 cst, and from what I have read from vdo the gas gauge uses a ohm reading of 180-10 ohms. That not what I have on my sending unit.
And it is the sanding unit in the tank in the cab of the truck, I saw this AutoMeter on youtube and was curious, Has anyone used anything like this to correct the gas gauge to read properly. Below is the link

Re: Fuel sending unit

I used the one from VDO for my Mooneyes gauges. Programing it was a bit of a chore but it works great now. The other problem I kept having was the brass repro floats kept filling up. I replaced them with a plastic one. Another problem solved.
