Re: Tips for cleaning emblems?

I went by a suggestion on here when refinishing the emblems, stripped them first with paint stripper, then used Barkeepers Friend to clean 'em up. Worked great, has some kind of mild acid in it that really gets the chrome clean. Would think it'd be ok on painted emblems too, but not positive.

Why not repaint them as long as you have them off? Great thread on here about how to do it with nail polish and a syringe.
