Daddy needs a new engine x member

I'm putting a 2006 Tahoe 5.3 into the 67 GMC k10 with a sm420 and a Rockwell transfer case and I believe I will have to swap out the existing engine crossmember,I've read most people use the dirty dingo but curious if they may be a better choice?. Things change in this ever evolving hobby and what worked then may not be the best choice in today's market.

Moving this to the LSx Swaps forum. I think you will have better luck for a reply over there.

Daddy has no patience so is going to buy the dirty dingo when I can find one in stock, other contender was the Pacific Fab and the DIY . who knows I may even Fab one if I can find the time.

Keep us updated. My 66 k10 doesn't even come with a crossmember so I'm curious. Thanks.

I just got my DD crossmember, I called them directly and was put on a waiting list. They had a machine go down, so they had to outsource them. Only bummer is they weren't powder coated, but I will have a local shop do it.
