1972 C30 dually - 8’ bed
Decided to sell a long time project. It hasn’t seen much love recently and I have other projects so here it is.
1972 C30 Custom. Factory C30 dually. Frame shortened to 127” wheel base. 350 engine rebuilt about 2 years ago, mild RV cam, flat top pistons .060 over, edelbrock intake, Holley carb, MSD distributor. 2.5” dual exhaust and Flowmaster 50 series mufflers. New clutch and pressure plate. Transmission rebuit and all linkagaes repaired or replaced. Rearend replaced with Dana 70HD from 1985 C30. Has all new brakes front (bearings, seals, calipers, hoses, master cylinder) and rear (Shoes, wheel cylinders, adjuster kit, springs, seals and bearings) as well as most of the lines and parking brake cables (yes it works) The rear has 4.10 gears. New springs, perches, u bolts and shackles at the same time the rear was swapped. The AC/heat was removed completely and cleaned then reinstalled with new seals and fan. Need a new condenser, new ducts and one cable. The cab is decent but has rust in the usual places. I had the cab/front end off and the frame was cleaned and painted before new body mounts were installed. There isn’t much that hasn’t been touched on this thing. All the lights work and it could be a daily driver with a new set of tires. The aren’t bad but not new either. The “dually” fenders are cut down 67 stepside fenders that are bolted to the bedside. I do have body side moldings but will need to be cut for the fenders. I will certainly lose money on this thing but I will not give it away. Feel free to ask questions and I’ll answer as I can. Price $4500.

The glove box was signed by Cooter from Dukes of Hazzard and is the original glovebox with matching VIN.

I'll let him chime in once he makes it home. I don't want to announce the "new baby" before he can.

Now this would have been cool. I know it's an old ad but pretty neat rig.

Re: 1972 C30 dually - 8’ bed
It was a sweet truck but really needed some cab work. I wanted to focus on the 69 shortbed too.

Re: 1972 C30 dually - 8’ bed
If only I was 4 years earlier I might have been interested. I have just started looking for a C30.

That was a cool truck. I first started reading the post and saw the price. I was like dang! Then I noticed the date.
