Re: Hemi in a square body

Pshh… a Maggie or LSA supercharger and mild boost cam on a 6.0 or 6.2 Chevy will get similar or likely better go/tq numbers as the hellkitten without really pushing things that hard boost wise. I’ll pass. Im a late model Camaro guy so that mopar stuff isn’t my cup of tea by any means. I like beating the lead filled boat challengers stop light to stop light on a Good Friday night. Those challengers don’t hook for crap in stock form. Hp/tq does no good if it don’t get to the ground.

Re: Hemi in a square body

All this talk about building up engines.....pretty sure it would be cheaper to aftermarket turbo a standard hemi and make the same or more power. But that's not the point of the hellcat motor. Its factory built HP. People who swap in hellcat motors, aren't looking for hot rodded motors. Like it or not, factory motors are usually more reliable and better behaving at all RPM's not just full.
