Re: How about some pics of your 4x4

Thanks guys btw the frame does stick out underneath this one a little bit as well but it doesn't look too bad. If you get under the truck you can see that theres a few things that need to be cleaned up as far as welds go and unneccasary metal but thanks for the compliments.

Several years back I purchased a transmission brand new mil. surplus for my CJ . It came with the remote shift top that the Gama used. What a score! A brand spankin new SM420! It came packed in this foam filled military box.

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4

^ That's freakin sweet! I got a set of new CUCV Dana 60 front and 14BFF rear axles and some humvee wheels with new 37x12.50 radials on them for free awhile back through an army buddy. They had ordered a bunch of new parts and these came off a downed truck but everything was still perfect!

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4

lol no it was wrecked on base. The guy rolled it and it was sitting in the mechanics lot. They were going to scrap it but they let him take parts off it, he's been with the army for about 15 years.

Everything works great! The axle is centered in the wheel well. I had to move the shackles back 4'' to make it work.

The old horse, like me. Still goes, slowley. Maybe if I live long enough I can get a newer one but I don't think they make them the same anymore.
