1987 Burb Swap

Well guys I'm starting a new swap! 1987 GMC Suburban R10 6.2L Diesel. Bought this a couple years back with the intent to keep the diesel, But as we all know the 6.2 is very low power. and it will not pull very well. So I decided to LS swap to a 6.0L LQ4 4l65E from a 2004 H2 Hummer. The Hummer had 337,000 miles so it needed to be rebuilt. After a lot of research on the 2500HD forums I decided to make it a torque monster. Installed a Vinci 080 ultra torque cam shaft kit with new lifters .080 push rods and dual springs. LS2 flat top pistons with floating pin rods, 8.1L 80lb injectors. Sorry for the rotated photo but I have tried everything to rotate it.

Re: 1987 Burb Swap

And great looking truck and hope that your swap is gone well. It would seem by the labeling that this is the appropriate place to post this. However, there's almost no traffic in this part of the forum. Going to the regular square body area would put you in contact with a lot more people.
