Restored 1964-66 vent windows
Up for sale are several pair of restored Vent Window Assemblies in Black Trim that will fit 1964-66 Chevrolet & GMC Pickups, Blazers and Suburbans.
The rebuild includes a complete disassembly and inspection for worn or broken parts which are replaced. We use high quality parts in the restoration from Classic Parts of America. We replace all the window weatherstripping using the correct rivets, reline the vertical division bar, and replace both handles with new ones. At the top and bottom I use pop rivets for 2 reasons. The first it is a tighter fit, and we have the clearance for fitment. The tinted auto safety glass is new as well. All the black trim has been power coated with a black gloss finish. All misc metal parts are cadmium plated and the spring black is phosphate coated This is a high quality restoration and far superior to the reproductions that are currently on the market. Price is $500.00 plus shipping via UPS which runs from $22.00 to $35.00 with insurance. Please email with any questions or need additional pictures. I accept checks and PayPal.

Re: Restored 1964-66 vent windows
Mr Koop, what if I were to send you mine and you restore them and keep my original glass, or I buy a set from you outright but with no glass so I can re-use my panes? what is the cost differential when supplying your own vent assemblies ? text or call me at 256 486 1988

Re: Restored 1964-66 vent windows
Roger, could you please reply to my PM's? It's been well over a month since I sent you my vent windows for rebuilding. I don't know "why" it is taking so long?, as communication from you has been lacking..... Last message from you over 2 weeks ago was "will be bringing the frames to the powdercoater today or Monday"...
I don't mean to be a pest, but I'd Just really like to drive my truck. Summer is VERY SHORT here in Minnesota... Thanks |
