radio Ariel
hi what has every one used for a hidden radio Ariel. also where did you put them and how well do they work??? I bought one from a electronic shop it's a small black box with ground and power lead on it and the coax to radio. I put it in the gutter in front of windshield , but is not working very well. Thanks Denis

Re: radio Ariel
I've got a full length antenna mounted behind my rocker panel, parallel to the ground ..untested yet, but theres many people that have done it this way with good enough results

Re: radio Ariel
My last truck is used a long (full length) antenna and mounted it under the cab parallel with the ground Like Mongo said.

Re: radio Ariel
Slid a piece of tygon tube over the antenna.. but it's far enough away from anything that it shouldn't hit
