Unlikely but possible. The weight of the service body would almost 'regulate' it to a 3/4 chassis @ a minimum.
But, since the frames are similar, it's easy enough to swap a service body on to a 1/2 chassis for a 'custom' truck or swap the 3/4 ton chassis parts to 1/2 to spec stuff.
