I suggest using an amp meter or an amp setting on a DVOM. Test lights work great for older cars without modules in them. Not so great with these trucks that have modules that have time delays to turn off.
*If you have RPO CJ2, the HVAC module can take 4-5 hrs to turn off. That is normal A draw should be 30 milliamps or less after all modules have shut down. |
