working on a floor mount shifter for the 8spd auto. This is a gated shifter from lokar.

Test fitting the hydrobooster and master cylinder. I am using CaptainFabs (from the forum here) brackets. They fit really nice. I chose his kit that has the provision for a clutch master cylinder, although I have an automatic at the moment. I have been toying with the idea of using a 6 speed manual from a Nissan Z car. What has kept me from the manuals is having the shifters interfear with the bench seat.

With your skills, I'm sure you could fab something that would work. Something with a curved stick like my truck has.
