The rarest of the rare options?

Hey guy's,

Kinda new here...

Just seeing if I can get a list of the rarest options going.

I currently own a 72' Cheyenne Super, she is a rust bucket.

I figured this would be a fun thread and test everyone here! Haha!

rarest options

I'm sure there are a few, but I would think shoulder belts would be one of them. My GMC has them. I've only seen a few other sets around. Tow hooks are fairly rare. Highlander option? Not many of those. We need someone like CPNE or one of the other guru's on here!!!!!

vac & air pressure gauge were only on c/40 and heavier trucks.

shoulder harnesses and cruise are pretty rare.

Luv,
The first one is the model, so you only have 3.
Sounds rare to me...

I'm not sure, but were the gauge packages standard in 1967? If not, I've got 2 options, an AM radio and the gauge package. yeah, that's about it... Besides that, you're looking at a totally bare bones 250 (1bbl) powered 3 speed C10.

Heater delete would be the biggest one I could think of, never seen one, don't know why you would want that option.... It gets cold here, haha.

Were seat belts optional in 68? Or did the P.O. take them out? When i got my truck it didnt have any.

How about a 68 three speed overdrive? That's what mine had from the factory, long gone now though.

68w/sbc406 , the seat belts were standard in all C-10 - C-30 trucks. Yours were removed.

This only shows one option. I can't make it out, but the int was not optional, the paint was not optional and the model number was not an option, so that only leaves one thing there to be an option.

Speed warning wasn't an option anymore in 72, that was killed in 70.
Vac and air pressure was only on C40 & up as indicated, the clock was not an option in the US, some say it may have been in Canada.
The spring helpers were not very rare, and the 8 track was not a factory option, neither was stereo. The tissue dispensor wasn't a factory option, just a dealer add on.
I don't know of the sway bar being rare, 2 of the 3 I've had came with them, many, if not most that I have looked at had it too.
4 speed tilt is way rare, shoulder harnesses are pretty rare, rear shoulder in a blazer...never heard of that, but I'll take your word... cruise controll was pretty rare, center seat belts were pretty rare. I'm sure I'll think of more tomorow.
