Hmm, could be. Honestly anything helps here as i have no clue about automatic transmissions haha. I have a second car so i wouldn't mind learning a bit but I'm probably just going to end up throwing this at a shop. Idk why, but it seems a lot more complicated to me than an old SBC to rebuild.

If the shaft snapped in the input drum what would be the easiest way to go about checking to see if that is the problem?
