1942 Chev truck owners manual

Title says it all. Found it at the RT127 yard sale. It is like new but have no idea of value or how to find a buyer. Anyone even have a 1942 truck? During the war years, kind of surprized they even made trucks for the public. Just couldn't resist buying it though~~~
Also bought a 99 chev truck reese hitch setup ---now to convert it to fit my blazer with the sport bumper----looked at it and well---time to get out the torch -hehehe

You might try the Stovebolt Page;
www.stovebolt.com/
That's a more active forum for early GM trucks. I know there's one user from New Zealand with a '42 6x6. [Probably Marine Corps surplus.] Those guys are all over the early stuff.

Huckster! I was looking for you at Carlisle last week, was hoping to say hi.
All the manufactures produced 1942 model year vehicles from late 41 into 42. I have a 1942 Oldsmobile 60 series that was built in November of 1941. I believe they pretty much shut down production of automobiles for the public in Feburary of 1942. Production numbers were fewer of course, in my particular model there was less than 7000 built. There should be somebody out there with a 1942 Chevy pickup.

And if God is unable to turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles so we may know them by their limping.

The Chevy and GMC trucks models were actually in production from 41-42, none except military in 43,44,45. And the same truck was also a 46. New model in 1947. I have had 6 of this model truck. And still have one turd left.
