Rear coils on a 1969 c10
guys, we have a 69 CST10 with rear coil springs, and would like to replace with some that will raise the back end up a bit and firm it up a bit. What has been your experiences related to this?
Thank you, RonWT |

Rear coils spec'd for a C20 would be my first choice. And, if it doesn't feel firm, I'd be looking for shocks as well.

Re: Rear coils on a 1969 c10
On my 68 with coil springs it sat a bit low so went to the local metal store and had them cut me 1"? spacers out of 4"? steel bar stock. Drilled a hole in the middle and bolted them in.
You can have the spacer cut any thickness you need. I think they charged me $40 for both. |
