Thanks, yeah I dont like it there either.
For what its worth the stock straps fit to hold that tank up. Those pictures are before I strapped it up.

My stock tank is bad and leaks. So I figured I'd just spend the time to move it out of the cab instead of buying a tank I dont really want.

What do you guys think about a thin tank at the front of the bed?
It would not be that hard to weld up one up. Auxiliary tanks are pricey.
4.5" thick would still give you close to 20 gallons.

saw online a tank with a tool box on top.
Could just build a tank that fit under a tool box.
