73-79 suburbans
Why are they so hard to find? was it just a production thing, where they didnt make very many of them or the fact that they were worked hard and very few left worth selling?

Re: 73-79 suburbans
I see them on ebay pretty often, still in good shape w/original interior intact and everything working. It's a form of self-torture, I want to buy them all but can't.

Re: 73-79 suburbans
That depends on the model. I know the 3/4 tons are hard to find because they had Dana 60's front and rear with some having a TH400 and a optional external 4th overdrive gear. Those with a transfer case made for a short drive line.

Re: 73-79 suburbans
Only thing i can think of is that it would look like a new suburban that way. Go figure, im all for the round head lights

Re: 73-79 suburbans
lol...reminds of guys who continuously change their nice 67 and 68 fronts for the 71 and 72. But even though I think they did something stupid. They must like it.
