Finally got my old account back
Ive been on this site since 2007. I’ve had too many Blazers to count over the years. I bought my 1st Blazer back in 1993 for $5000. What a deal that would be today! Lol. Liz the moderator was nice enough to let me access my original account. I’m no longer using COOL K5, now I’m back using my old original account OLD SKOOL K5. Here is a pic of my current 1972 GMC Jimmy.

Re: Finally got my old account back
Here is a pic of the last small project. Bought a spare tire carrier. Sanded all the rust off it, painted and mounted it. Got lucky and found a new, never mounted 33X10.50 BFGoodrich tire for $50 on OfferUp. I bought 5 steel wheels so I had an extra for this future project. Also was able To find a gentleman that was selling additional GMC hubcap. Then off to Lowe’s for the longer bolt… and finally the project came together. Took a 6 months, but hey, who is counting. lol!

Re: Finally got my old account back
Welcome back into the fold. Beautiful looking Jimmy, looks like it just came off the show room floor. My first 4WD was a '71 Blazer, 350 with factory 4 speed. Wish I had been smart enough to keep it but back then when I bought it in '79 who knew......
