58 Apache LWB Portland, Or

Finally starting to check out this awesome forum.

I've been working on my 58 for a couple of years now,

The day I bought it.

Nice truck.

I have always liked this Fleet side bed, Cause of how the bullet shaped contour that goes back to the taillight.

Thanks for all of the welcomes.

I've only driven it around the neighborhood. Doubt if it would do freeway speeds. It still has a 235 6 cyl, 4peed, and factory rear gear ratio. I need to fix rust and replace cab mounts.

I would be so sure. My 51 Advanced Design with the stock 235 drivetrain will do 55 without sweating and hit 60 if I need to. It's has done 65 once or twice but that's not where it likes to live.

Those bullet fleetside trucks are so cool. Fixing rust is overrated. Driving is way more fun
