Re: 72 getting rid of the 90's mistake.

Put the new TMI dash pad in, its charcoal black and red stitch. Found it on ebay new at a good price (for a TMI item) and grabbed it. It was about $200 cheaper than from the TMI store and ready to ship, otherwise I would have bought the vinyl black and red stitch.

In person it matches better but the flashlight and my phone camera makes it look lighter black.

The horror stories about the mounting hardware breaking are true, I snapped mine in as gentle as I could thinking Id be the one and both end bolts came off.
At least I think they did, they just spin when I try to put the bolt on. The center bolt is good for now and since the whole pad fits so tight it feels solid with just the one center bolt installed.
I see why there are almost no install videos on youtube that show the entire process.
