I have a nice 1/2 ton longbed frame also.

I'll post some pics later, but it currently sits on a shortbed X-Frame with a short Stepside bed.
73-87 Power steering (Redhead), power brakes, and a TH350.
It currently has a high compression nice running 283 with 305 heads - takes premium gas.
I also have a complete 73-87 disc brake front crossmember. And a complete long fleetside bed and tailgate with an extra set of nice longbed fleetside bed sides.
Basically have pretty much everything to make it a longbed fleetside - if that's the route someone wanted to take.
But as it sits it's a driving running shortbed Stepside.
$3500 for everything. Or $3500 for any of everything you want.

The cab is surprisingly solid. The guy who owned it before me had it stored indoors for years. And I've had it in a barn the last 12 or so years I've had it.

Think it would have any trouble driving up to Post Falls?

I drove it all over the place before my health issues. It does have a very faint vibration in the drive line at a certain rpm. I think around 40mph. But it's a very mechanically sound truck.
5+ hour drive shouldn't be a problem. The rear is 3:73, so it revs around 3000rpm at 55.
I like to stay 55-60 mph max.
