Re: Radiator install question

Even with new radiator mount pads you may have some rubbing. I noticed this on a champion I installed. It would just rub on the raised edges of the upper metal mounts. The rubber pads did not quite keep the radiator off the metal once tightened down. A very small amount of grinding on the metel mount fixed. An easy confirmation you are not rubbing is to test for no continuity between the radiator and radiator support. Just be sure to run the test before any tubes or hoses are attached.
