Re: 1971 K/10 longer front wheel studs?
Put the 610-156 stud on and it works fine, actual knurl measures .562-.563, actual on 041 IS .561 (on all these I have). so close as I could get on that. Ended up getting 12 1/2 turns on threads which satisfies the 1 1/2 times stud diameter rule, anyway Im happy with it. (Your actual results may vary, lol). Thanks kw and all who contributed!

The oem style studs do have the knurl in a not what you would think position.
This out of Rock Auto.

Re: 1971 K/10 longer front wheel studs?
I'm currently having the exact same issue.
Check out Dorman 610-130 these are very close . .56 knurl in about the correct location, 2" under head length, Just the shoulder is about 1/4" longer. But I don't think will be an issue due to the rim thickness. I bought one yesterday and plan on doing a test fit soon. Gary

Re: 1971 K/10 longer front wheel studs?
These work !!!
The knurl is almost all in the hub, the shoulder does stick out about a 1/4" but the rim hole size & thickness covers it and I got about 14 threads on. No drilling or modes with the M/T Classic 3 rims. They are a tighter fit to press in and I used a hydraulic arbor press. Gary
