I have found quite a few that don’t fit tight, so I keep trying other bars until one does fit tight. If not, I replace the buckle cover. Or the buckle cover has a broken tab and that make the buckle cover itself loose & rattle. Another is the spring for the emblem is loose. And then I have found where the plunger has a piece of metal that has broken off and it’s in there rattling around. But if that or anything else gets lodged in the right place it can cause the plunger not to work at all. The one in the picture that is circled at the top, is one where a piece of the plunger broke off and is laying inside.
