Re: Is this real..

Post on Marketplace on Monday night and showed the ad had been up for 2 hours I guess someone contacted them before me and the seller, genuine salt of the Earth my word is my bond folks, agreed to wait to till Wednesday to the first responder as said he couldn't come till Wednesday. I said I could come on Tuesday but their word was their bond and said they'd wait till Wednesday and if he didnt follow through the truck was mine. He followed through and from what I understand it went to a good home and in my City so I hope to see it at local Car Shows or driving down the street. Thats #3 I missed in the last 3/4 months.

Whats weird about the Spid other than I blocked off the last 6 numbers of the VIN.

Re: Is this real..

There was a 1972 K1500 shortbed on BAT 4 or 5 years ago that was light yellow with this same blue interior. Very unique like this truck. Very rare color combo, however, rare isn't always desirable.

I think the SPID seems wierd because the paint and trim codes are usually the last items listed on the SPID.

Re: Is this real..

SPID question...usually the top right box labeled SE is blank. What does this SE box represent?

Its the dealer order number for the truck. GM Heritage can get us a printout of any truck built at the Oshawa Plant and they probably use the order # to find te original order sheet for the trucks.

That's a sweet truck. Yum. More will come, destiny.

What was he asking for it?
