The only issue I found while scouring the junk yards is that to get the blade at rest to sit at the bottom of the windshield horizontally, Opposite arms are required. Couldn't find ones to make a pair small enough. I ended up ordering factory reproductions so it had the correct length and bend, with an extra set of blades. They offer different blade mounting options so you can use modern blades. Under $20 a piece. Like mr48 says, "if it falls apart, it should've been changed out long ago".

The blades don't sit Parallel to the windshield. It has to be the angle of the arms. Here is a picture. Steve
