What Year Seats are These?

I bought these a while back to install in my '60. I thought from all of the threads I read that these were a fairly easy retrofit but I don't think I grabbed the correct ones. No electrics in them. The tracks are 5"-6" longer than the factory bench and even with the track backed up all the way to the hump in the floor pan they still stick out way too far. I saw a few posts where spacers were used for the front where the floor pan drops but these just don't seem to fit.

I'm just wondering if I grabbed the wrong year. Thanks.

I don't know what year they are, but they do look very nice. Is it possible to cut and modify the tracks to make them shorter?

Are you trying to bolt them into the factory holes?

No. I would be okay with drilling new holes if they would fit the pan but they are substantially larger and don't fit in the flat part of the floor pan.

These links are just for ideas as SLOSH Tubz does not yet offer a plate for your truck Also TMI has a Frame that is an option?.

Do you have the means to fabricate a plate or bracket like the ones they sell?

I am sure I could fashion something. I probably misread something when I first started looking years ago. I thought it would be a pretty simple installation. I was just wondering if I bought the wrong year seats. I had the original bench reupholstered and keep going back and forth.

Re: What Year Seats are These?

IMO It's hard to beat the original bench seat.

If you require better seatbelt system, I would move forward with installing the newer seat. Just my 2 cents.

I like to look of the bench since the truck is mostly original. I bought a set of 3 point belts but they are giving me trouble too. So close but so far...

Re: What Year Seats are These?

I have these seats and tho they are pretty comfy, they raise you up and set you forward so if your a big fella, you will be uncomfortable driving since the wheel is in your belly.
