Question Question How are hickey fuel tanks mounted?

Hello all, I was changing my body mounts But I found that the hickey fuel tank mounts under the frame into the tub. So therefore I can't raise the rear of the tub to swap the body mounts. I believe this tank has through bolts. Is anyone familiar with The type of hardware that is on the underside of the through bolts? It appears to be a flush mount nut but uses a square head? Either way, mine are rusted on and I thought about just grinding off the heads in the tub and dropping everything down But I wanted to confirm that would actually be enough to drop the tank?

Thank you all!!

I’m not certain, but maybe these tanks were mounted in a manner similar to the auxiliary pickup tanks with example hardware seen here: https://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vbo...d.php?t=734283

Here are some pics i finally figured out how to share. It appears these are threaded internally and use a square drive? I tried to spray pb blaster inside which is why they look wet

That sure does look like how the pickup RPO NL2 auxiliary tank was mounted..

Awesome! Thanks I'll weld some nuts to the bottom and be gentle with it. The square holes were deforming.
