Once that's done, weld or bolt a stiffening bar to hold the header in place. When I did my truck, I put a couple bars from the seatbelt bolts to the top of the windshield header. Only after these steps are done should you start cutting out the rust. You can then use your door to locate the rockers. The doors are indeed adjustable at both the door and A pillar (body) If your body mounts and rocker boxes are already in good shape, then you may not need the stiffening bars. Pics would help. |
