It mind sound trivial but I always walk around my parts, vehicle, etc with my hand making the spraying motion. When you get to the point where parts are on stands or the cab is in there. It's also good to do this walk with your air hose in hand and figure a game plan for dragging it around. I do this to make sure I can get to all the angles needed and also get around everything without bumping into stuff. Even before I paint a car. I walk the car to figure out the best approach for painting and planning my overlaps. When spraying parts, there will be times I have them hung a touch too high and I can't get the top. A couple mins to game plan can also help calm the nerves.
