Re: Door glass seals

Update - - Got the window seals from Precision out of WI and they feel like they are waaaay better quality than LMC, so thank you Howzzzit for a heads up on that one. I'll try and get them installed tonight and we'll see how it goes.

Man, I love this forum board. This place is so much better than any YouTube channel for info. We need to arrange a get together with all of our community assisted repaired trucks.

Re: Door glass seals

I got the door glass seals in last night and they are a lot better than LMC's seals. These were super easy to install and are high quality. I paid $84.00 for these before shipping and have learned as I've gotten older, you get what you pay for. I loosened the screw in the window vent and that helped to get the seal seated. The video on Precision's website was really helpful as well.

Here's their website again if anyone needs it.

I will definitely be buying more parts from them.

Below are the installed photos. A little wavy, but definitely better than what I had. Thanks to everyone for the input.

We've offered Precision seals for 25 + years now. Top notch company that stands behind what they manufacturer.

I used Precision for all glass and doors. Short the vent rubber anyway, I didn't rebuild them. Everything went smoothly.

Precision Seals all the way.
I got mine from Wes Hepp @ https://www.classicheartbeat.com/

A little trimming required.

The width of the slots on my Burban's windows vary.
Driver's side front 1-1/8"
Driver's side rear 1"
Passenger side front 1"
Passenger side rear 1-1/16"
