Today I crimped a fresh Ring Terminal on the end of a ground strap going from the Firewall to the Hood of my '03 Tahoe. According to a schematic, this ground is the Radio Ground Plane, so my FM reception should improve.
Since it was adjacent, I also inspected and cleaned up [w/ a wire brush] the ground srtap end from the Block to the Firewall. It wasn't bad but it's good to keep up. Thursday I was going to help a friend troubleshoot the dead headlights on his '16 Subaru Forester. But I couldn't find the special Fuse Pliers I ordered off Amazon. So we cracked the beers early. I looked again today, but I had put them somewhere ''safe''. [From me.]
